QC/Replay

QC/Replay is a second generation, widget-aware GUI testing tool, automating regression and system testing of graphical applications. QC/Replay is less intrusive, more powerful and easier to use than first generation (bitmap) or hybrid (bitmap tools with add-on widget-aware support) tools.

Three key benefits of QC/Replay:

Widget-based. All scripts and data are based on GUI objects, not bitmap coordinates, which makes testing more reliable, portable and maintainable. There is no switching to analog mode for certain events.

The scripting language, Tcl, is an industry standard, which means a much shorter learning period and widely available third party training courses and add-on functionality.

Complete support for any Xt-based applications with Motif, OLIT, Athena or custom widgets.
